Enterprise Sales Executive

Role Summary

As an Enterprise Sales Executive at ETR, you will report directly to the VP of Enterprise. This role requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience managing and growing client relationships within the enterprise technology vendor or research sectors. This includes tenure cultivating and commercializing relationships with Heads of Marketing, Product, Strategy, Analyst Relations, and other positions vital to the growth of technology companies today. Given ETR’s hypergrowth trajectory, significant future opportunities will become available to performers as we scale and grow our business.

A critical function expected of this role is to evaluate and identify new sales opportunities to generate a continuous pipeline of new business. This role will also focus on aligning our innovative and entrepreneurial company mindset to maintain and grow existing ETR client relationships by cross selling our data platform product and services, expanding user bases within current technology clients, and successfully managing client renewals. Outbound sales proficiencies such as email, phone, and F2F skills are essential to success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Identify potential new clients for ETR services to successfully convert to subscribers
  • Outbound emailing and cold-calling prospects, along with following up inbound leads generated via our website, free-trial requests, various MQLs
  • Provide exceptional service to existing clients while cross-selling additional ETR products/services and continually expanding the user base within those accounts
  • Manage client renewals and upgrade opportunities
  • Execute on company strategy and objectives around sales targets, new customer adoptions and existing client renewals
  • Gather feedback from clients around product development and enhancements to communicate with the firm’s data team
  • Coordinate with the research team and play a role in shaping research product offerings and topical research projects
  • Maintain and update internal CRM (HubSpot) for client engagement and sales pipeline activity

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience selling into the enterprise technology market or sector research and services, or equivalent experience in a B2B subscription sales business
  • Demonstrated success in identifying and converting new business opportunities
  • Providing exceptional customer service and support
  • Ability to foster relationships with key decision makers as well as active daily users
  • Proven ability to think and act creatively utilizing data
  • Understanding both the buying behavior and strategies of enterprise technology vendors, as well as the makeup of the standard vendor company org chart and roles
  • Ability to communicate ETR’s value proposition and insights
  • Strong team player willing to assist and guide other team members
